He also loses this ability temporarily if he loses his stomach until he recovers.

Origins:

A scrappy, rebellious orphan, Rick Jones stumbled into the test site for the Gamma Bomb and inadvertently caused Bruce Banner to be caught in the blast that transformed Banner into the Hulk. Rick became the Hulk's closest confidant, a member of the Avengers, and a friend and sidekick to multiple heroes. After his death, Rick Jones was buried at Severin Memorial Cemetery. The Immortal Hulk took Doc Samson there to prove that he, Bruce Banner, Betty Ross, and Rick Jones are all connected to one constant theme: resurrection. They found Rick Jones' grave dug up and his body missing In the U.S. Hulk Operations' Shadow Base Site B, Rick Jones' corpse was used for gamma experimentation by scientists led by Charlene McGowan and his whole body was covered in gamma energy, which resurrected him as an Abomination/A-Bomb-like creature with two faces and many finger-like structures surrounding his face called "Subject B". Using a camera placed inside Rick's head, the U.S. Hulk Operations dispatched Subject B to Reno, Nevada to draw out the Hulk.
