Doctor Stasis is a clone of Mister Sinister, one of the four created in 1895 to explore different solutions to the problem of inevitable Machine supremacy. Each of the clones believed themselves to be the only one and the original Nathaniel Essex, having no memory of his death in Bedlam. | ||||
Doctor Stasis eventually traveled to America and set up a base deep underneath New Jersey. He was the mysterious chairman of the Oblivion Institute and eventually became director of Orchis's Sixth Petal of Human Resources. |
