| Kaine is an imperfect clone of Peter Parker (Spider-Man) created by Professor Miles Warren, the Jackal. He was the first clone to reach maturity however, since Professor Warren was still perfecting his cloning technique, Kaine soon developed a condition called clone degeneration, the symptoms of which have left him horribly scarred. Kaine was discarded by Warren and forced to fend for himself, so he turned to crime. | ||||
