Renowned entomology professor Dr. August Hopper was fired from the Metro College for aggressively promoting his radical theory that ionic bombardment could transform insects into giants, posing a potential threat to humanity. Despite this, Hopper was subsequently hired as a research scientist by Ryan Chemicals, where he developed some of the world’s most effective insecticides. Because of these successes, the company gave him exceptional freedom and privacy in conducting his research.
