Great Beasts: Somon is the most powerful of the Great Beasts and can control them. Without his control, they battle among themselves.

They have been shown to be sent to the Earth realm to do battle, while the true Somon remains in the Realm of the Beasts. It's unlikely they possess all the Beasts true power.
Psychic Death: Psychic death is an attack that drains the target of all his or her life force. It's a powerful attack where he creates a giant hand and with his fingers pierces the target, sucking their life-force dry. He can absorb the life-force of multiple people at once.
Size Manipulation: Somon has the ability to increase his size to unknown levels, he can retain normal humanoid height and also grow over hundreds of feet tall. The upper limits of his size manipulation were never stated.

Origins:

One thousand years ago, ancient powers were active in the north of Canada, powers that have spawned legends. The greatest of these powers were the gods of the Inuit people, and the Great Beasts. The Great Beasts warred among themselves, and would have destroyed the world, but the Inuit deities battled against them, and sealed them away from the Earth. In the end, Tundra, the Beast of Earth, also trapped the Inuit Gods so they could no longer interact with their mortal worshippers. Somon the Artificer is the oldest and most powerful of the Great Beasts.
