Ultimo has adaptive defences; for instance, while he once was deactivated by a lightning bolt, this later proved ineffective.

Enhanced Abilities: Ultimo has upper level super human strength, agility, speed and endurance.

Body Armour: Ultimo is made from a nearly indestructible metal.

Energy Absorption: Ultimo can absorb and store immense amounts of heat energy.

Energy Blasts: Ultimo can project energy beams from his eyes, the power of which varies with his own energy level.

Growth: Ultimo can significantly increase his size and presumably strength and durability. When he first appeared, he was only 25 feet tall, but after his year long lava bath underneath the Earths crust, he had grown to 60 feet; later, after Stark-Fujikawa´s engineers accessed his systems, they made him grow to "over a hundred feet".

Self Repair: Ultimo seems capable of repairing himself even when deactivated and completely disassembled.

Origins:

Ultimo is a sentient weapon that was made by a group of unnamed aliens simply to destroy anything it encounters, save for its masters. After Ultimo's initial programming, he went to the planet Rajak and killed all the inhabitants on the planet at the time. When a group of Rajak men who were off of the planet at the time Ultimo attacked returned to their home only to find everyone dead, they proceeded to vigorously track down Ultimo. When they found him, they discovered he was far too powerful for them, and decided to flee. Ultimo pursued them, and eventually cornered them in an asteroid field not far from earth. In the midst of the battle, gravity ensnared both Ultimo and the Rajak men, hurling them towards earth. It is unknown what happened to the men, but Ultimo is know to have landed in China, and thus shutting down from the impact. He remained there until Mandarin found him. He took the robot back to his palace and reprogrammed him to be his servant
