| Garm was a teacher at Corkstown Elementary School, while on a field-trip with students the bus was hijacked by a gang of criminals. Garm and his students were rescued by Azrael, who's rescue so impressed Garm that the very next day he quit his job in order to study Azrael's super human abilities, in order to replicate them for the good of mankind.
