Powers:

Geokinesis: Terra can control and manipulate all forms of rock and earthly substances and materials. Unlike her brother who has showed some geokinesis under stress, Terra can fully control the dirt and earth she controls and manipulates. There is no set limit to how far or how close she needs to be to the earth for this power and ability to work. She has been able to be completely off the ground and still control the earth. She has created tremors, earthquakes, sharpen rocks to a needle point, and has control over these elements for as long as she can physically maintain them.
Flight: Frequently, Terra uses her ability to rip rock and earth from the ground and use it to fly. All the geography of her surrounding environment can be controlled by her through her force of will.
Black Power Ring: The Black Lantern Rings are capable of wielding the black energy outside of the Emotional Electromagnetic Spectrum. When Black power rings choose wearers, they present themselves to the deceased without a charge. The rings (which constantly ask for "flesh") are recharged by killing living beings and removing their hearts; each heart restores .01 percent power to every ring in the Corps. Black Lanterns are also able to read the emotions of the living as a coloured aura that correlates to the emotional spectrum (red for rage, violet for love, etc.). Black Lantern Rings will regenerate a corpse each time it is damaged, they can create constructs, but this ability is rarely used and they allow flight.

Origins:

The king of Markovia had one affair which resulted in him having an illegitimate daughter named Tara Markov (Terra). The king decided that it would be best to send her to the United States of America to prevent his public image from being ruined.
Because of Tara's heritage she inherited earth moving powers similar to the ones of Geo-Force, who was her brother, and with the help of a doctor named Helga Jace, Terra gained control of her powers.
Tara had a lot of hate and anger towards her father because she was an illegitimate daughter. When Tara was fifteen years old she decided to use her powers to do illegitimate work for people. Terra became a hit-woman, doing dirty work for others. A notable client was Deathstroke the Terminator, whom she met when she was fifteen and had a relationship with. She joined the Teen Titans, fooling them by staging a battle against Deathstroke. She then operated as a spy for Deathstroke, eventually giving him the information he needed to kidnap the Titans, with no regrets.
Whilst battling the Titans, Terra in a mentally disturbed state brought down an entire building on herself, dying in the process. She was resurrected by a Black Lantern Power ring.
